Dr. Jody Whisenant Joins Gainesville Eye Associates

Dr. Jody Whisenant, a well-respected north Georgia optometrist, has joined Gainesville Eye Associates, which includes Jack M. Chapman, Jr., M.D., Clayton G. Blehm, M.D., Lori C. Lebow, M.D., Zach R.
Whisenant, whose EyeCare Associates practice recently merged with Gainesville Eye, is a long-time member of the American Optometric Association, Southern Council of Optometrists, and Georgia Optometric Association. He has earned several awards including Young Optometrist of the Year 1988, Presidential Citation, Optometrist of the year 1999 and the Distinguished Service Award.
An Albany, Ga. native, Whisenant graduated with honors from Southern College of Optometry in Memphis. He has also been a member of the Greater Hall Chamber of Commerce, Rotary Club of Gainesville and Gainesville Jaycees.
Gainesville Eye Associates has clinics in Gainesville, Braselton, and Cornelia, with consulting offices in Georgia (Blairsville, Clayton, and Hiawassee), and North Carolina (Hayesville and Franklin).
